Phil’s Friday Thought; Because You’re – Or Rather, We’re Worth It
Another week – a particularly hot and sticky one, and another thought for a Friday. This week, with the PPE requirements tailing off and the normal business coming more back into focus, I thought I would take an opportunity to highlight a product from the archive that I particularly like.
It is a PET sleeve that we did for L’Oreal. On the surface of it, quite simple looking in terms of the design, but if you could feel the print on the screen you would feel a high build varnish that gives a raised texture, that has then been digitally foiled silver to give the metallic base to the litho print that has then been applied to provide the color match required. The images really don’t do it the full justice. Ask us for a sample and we would be only too happy to send you one.
Working with our print partners enables us to keep fully up to date with technology and supply the latest in techniques and finishes to you, our customer, to make the most of any design. If that is just in the quality and resolution of an image, or to provide texture and feel for designs to leap off the pack itself.
Many customers don’t realise that these effects can be achieved on polypropylene and PET, but the mixture of frosting, clarity and texture really can bring your designs alive.
