How the UK is moving towards recycling most of its plastic waste.

Getting all of our plastic into the recycling streams gives it the best chance to be identified and sorted at the material recycling facilities.

I was sent this article earlier in the week from one of our suppliers. It handles the failure in the UK to recycle much of our plastic waste currently that is hopefully going to be tackled by a major Government initiative over the next 4 years.

Getting all of our plastic into the recycling streams gives it the best chance to be identified and sorted at the material recycling facilities.

This in turn will fuel the availability of good quality recyclate to in turn manufacture materials with good recycled content.

Have a read, and let me know what you think. We need to create this circular economy that we hear so much about, and the availability of good quality information and a co-ordinated coherent system is just the first step to making this a reality.
